What We Build

Full-Spectrum Electrical Construction

Five capability groups. One contractor with a builder's perspective on every scope.

01

Ground-Up Electrical Construction

Complete electrical systems for new construction — from underground rough to final trim.

Scope Includes
  • ▶Underground conduit and service entrance
  • ▶Rough-in: framing, insulation, and drywall stages
  • ▶Panel and subpanel installation
  • ▶Utility coordination (SCE, LADWP, and other SoCal utilities)
  • ▶Trim and device installation
  • ▶Final inspection and closeout documentation
Ideal for: Custom home builders, spec developers, and general contractors on ground-up residential and light commercial projects.

Ground-up electrical work is where coordination matters most. Conduit routing, panel locations, utility service points, and rough-in sequencing all need to be resolved before concrete is poured and framing is closed. CDG Electric engages at preconstruction to review plans, identify conflicts, and coordinate with structural, mechanical, and civil trades before those decisions become field problems.

We manage the full electrical scope from underground conduit and service entrance through rough-in, trim, and final inspection — including utility coordination with SCE, LADWP, and other Southern California utilities. Inspections are scheduled proactively, and closeout documentation is complete: as-builts, panel schedules, and inspection cards organized and delivered at project completion.

02

Production, Multifamily & Build-to-Rent

Scalable electrical scopes for production homebuilders, multifamily developers, and BTR communities.

Scope Includes
  • ▶Phased electrical delivery across multiple buildings
  • ▶Tract and production sequencing coordination
  • ▶Common area and site lighting
  • ▶Multi-unit EV charging infrastructure
  • ▶Metering and utility service coordination
  • ▶Clubhouse, amenity, and leasing office electrical
Ideal for: Production homebuilders, multifamily developers, and BTR operators working with general contractors in Southern California.

Production residential and multifamily work demands a different kind of electrical contractor — one that understands phased delivery, tract sequencing, and the coordination demands of large programs. CDG Electric brings the scheduling discipline and trade coordination experience to execute electrical scopes across multiple buildings and phases without becoming the bottleneck.

For build-to-rent communities, we understand the infrastructure requirements that distinguish BTR from for-sale product: common area power, EV charging infrastructure at scale, metering configurations, and the utility coordination required for multi-unit service. We work with developers and their GCs from preconstruction through final delivery.

03

Commercial & Tenant Improvements

Office, retail, and mixed-use TI work executed with minimal disruption to occupied buildings.

Scope Includes
  • ▶Panel upgrades and service modifications
  • ▶Circuit additions and load calculations
  • ▶Lighting design and installation
  • ▶Data and power distribution
  • ▶Coordination with occupied building operations
  • ▶Permit management and final inspection
Ideal for: Commercial tenants, property owners, and general contractors on office, retail, restaurant, and mixed-use TI projects.

Commercial tenant improvement work requires an electrical contractor who understands the constraints of occupied buildings: work hour restrictions, coordination with building management, existing panel capacity, and the permit and inspection process for TI scopes. CDG Electric manages these requirements as part of the job, not as exceptions to it.

We handle the full electrical scope for office, retail, restaurant, and mixed-use TI projects — from panel upgrades and circuit additions through lighting, data/power distribution, and final inspection. Our B General Contractor license means we can take on projects that require coordination across multiple trades and scopes, not just the electrical line item.

04

Residential Electrical & Service Upgrades

Panel upgrades, service replacements, circuit additions, and whole-home rewires.

Scope Includes
  • ▶Panel upgrades (100A → 200A, 200A → 400A)
  • ▶Service entrance replacement
  • ▶Circuit additions and dedicated circuits
  • ▶Whole-home rewires
  • ▶Outlet and switch additions
  • ▶Permit and inspection management
Ideal for: Homeowners in Southern California looking for a licensed electrical contractor for panel upgrades, rewires, or circuit work.

Residential electrical work done right means more than pulling a permit and passing inspection. It means understanding the full home — how the electrical system interacts with the structure, what the homeowner is actually trying to accomplish, and what the right scope is to get there. CDG Electric brings a general contractor's perspective to residential work, which means we're thinking about the whole project, not just the wire.

We handle panel upgrades, service replacements, circuit additions, dedicated circuits for appliances and equipment, and whole-home rewires for older homes. All work is performed by licensed electricians under a C-10 Electrical license, with permits pulled and inspections completed.

05

EV Charging & Electrical Infrastructure

Level 2 charger installation, dedicated EV circuits, and multi-unit charging infrastructure.

Scope Includes
  • ▶Level 2 charger installation (residential)
  • ▶Dedicated 240V EV circuits
  • ▶Panel capacity assessment and upgrades
  • ▶Multi-unit EV charging infrastructure (multifamily/BTR)
  • ▶Utility coordination for EV service requirements
  • ▶SCE Charge Ready Home program participation
Ideal for: Homeowners adding an EV charger, and multifamily or BTR developers building EV charging infrastructure.

CDG Electric is an SCE Charge Ready Home participating contractor. We install Level 2 EV chargers and dedicated EV circuits for homeowners, and design and install multi-unit EV charging infrastructure for multifamily and BTR communities. Every installation is permitted and inspected.

For homeowners, we assess your existing panel capacity, determine whether an upgrade is needed, and install the dedicated 240V circuit and Level 2 charger of your choice. For multifamily and BTR projects, we design the charging infrastructure to meet current and anticipated future demand, coordinate with the utility on service requirements, and install the full system.
